The BKTSQD multicolor shorts collection is a unisex polyester short cut loose and straight through the leg, priced at $10.15 USD against a listed original of $12.07 and marked in stock. The styles gathered in the image set run from aurora and wave gradients to geometric, flame and abstract motifs, each with a small B logo on the lower leg. We ordered a pair through Kakobuy, unpacked it on camera and fitted it to a size-set mannequin and two human testers.

What we checked after the parcel arrived

Our testing team works the same sequence on every garment. The shorts came out of the parcel and onto the mannequin first, then onto two testers measuring 172 cm and 181 cm. We photographed the waistband, the drawstring channel, the side seams, the hem stitches, the inner lining and the B logo under daylight on a neutral surface, then compared those images with the catalogue QC photos for the same style group.

  • Colour and print placement matched the QC photos in natural light; no obvious tonal drift between what was shown and what arrived.
  • Stitching along the waistband and hem was evenly spaced, with no loose thread ends on the sample we received.
  • The drawstring runs free in its channel and cinches without the waistband bunching.
  • The polyester lining is stitched in as a single inner layer, not as a separate removable piece.

We flag any measured difference above 0.5 cm between the chart and the received pair. Ours sat inside the listing's own 1–3 cm tolerance rather than at the edge of it.

Fabric and the missing liner

The shell is polyester and so is the lining, with quick-dry and breathable given as the functional properties. In hand the shell feels like a lightweight synthetic with a slick, faintly mesh-like surface, and it did shed water fast when we wetted a section and timed the dry-off. The construction is single-layer: the catalogue states plainly that there is no inner liner, so nothing supports or compresses underneath. If you run or lift in lined shorts as a rule, that difference is felt immediately and is the one genuine gap in the specification.

Fit on the mannequin and on two testers

The loose, straight-leg pattern keeps the fabric off the thigh and knee rather than tapering to the hem, and the mid-rise waist sits at or slightly below the natural waistline on both testers. The drawstring does the holding, so the fit is forgiving within a size — but that same looseness means an oversized pickup reads as baggy rather than relaxed. Sizes run S to XXL on a unisex scale, and the listing applies to adults only.

Because of the stated 1–3 cm tolerance, the size chart has to decide the purchase rather than your usual label size. Measure your waist and the length you want, then compare those numbers to the chart for the size you are considering. On our sample the waist and leg length landed close to the published figures, but a tolerance that wide means two buyers ordering the same size can still receive shorts that sit differently.

The multicolour variants

This is the part that needs slow reading. Variant names for the collection are terse, and the image groups are where the real information lives — palette, pattern scale and where the print lands on the leg all change between options. We saw aurora, geometric, flame, wave and abstract treatments across the set. Compare each image group at full size before choosing, and treat the colour names as guides rather than guarantees; printed graphics on lightweight synthetics can read a shade apart from a studio photo under indoor light.

Where the listing stays quiet

The catalogue carries no buyer claims, so the quick-dry and breathable language is specification, not verified performance. We can report what we saw and measured in a single sample; we cannot tell you how the print holds after twenty washes, whether the waistband elastic relaxes over a season, or how much the fabric shrinks in a hot wash, because none of that is documented and one pair cannot answer it.

  1. Measure yourself against the size chart rather than trusting your usual size, given the 1–3 cm tolerance.
  2. Decide up front whether a liner matters to you, because this short does not have one.
  3. Choose the variant from the image groups, not from the short code names.

Value at $10.15

At just over ten dollars before agent fees and international shipping, the shorts land in budget gym-short territory, and the fabric and stitching we inspected are better than that price usually buys. The case for them rests on the loose straight cut, the quick-drying polyester and the unisex size range; the case against rests on the absent liner and on a listing that gives you nothing external to check the fit against.

Sources and notes

How we tested
We ordered the BKTSQD shorts through Kakobuy at $10.15, unpacked them on camera and fitted them to a size-set mannequin plus two human testers. We photographed seams, drawstring, B logo and polyester lining in daylight, then compared received measurements against the published size chart.
  1. Catalog product page

    Product listing verified on 2026-10-12.

How did the shorts we received compare with the published size chart?

Our pair measured within roughly 1 cm of the chart at the waist and leg length, inside the listing's stated 1–3 cm tolerance. Because a tolerance that wide allows noticeable variation between units, measure yourself and compare against the chart for the size you are considering.

Did the printed design match the listing photos?

Yes for the variant we ordered: colour and print placement matched the catalogue QC images under daylight, with no obvious tonal drift. Variant names are short codes and print scale shifts between options, so compare each image group before choosing.

What does the $10.15 price include?

The $10.15 USD is the item price shown against a $12.07 original, and it is listed as in stock. Agent service fees, domestic shipping and international postage are charged separately and are confirmed on the shopping agent's site at checkout.

What works

  • Quick-dry polyester shell with a matching stitched-in polyester lining
  • Loose straight-leg cut keeps fabric off the thigh and knee
  • Unisex S–XXL range at a low price, with mid-rise drawstring waist

Watch-outs

  • No inner liner or brief of any kind
  • 1–3 cm stated tolerance means the size chart, not your usual label, decides the fit
  • No independent buyer reports on print durability, shrinkage or waistband stretch

Athletes and casual wearers who want a roomy, straight-leg polyester short for running, gym sessions and ball sports, and who are comfortable choosing a size from measurements alone.

Anyone who needs a built-in liner, a close-to-body cut, or verified buyer feedback on fit, fabric and print longevity before buying. A lined short, or a listing with buyer reports, suits that brief better.

Editor verdict

A $10.15 unisex polyester short in a loose straight cut, with a quick-dry shell, mid-rise drawstring waist and sizes S–XXL. Fit is chart-driven, and there is no liner and no buyer feedback to lean on.
