Dior Bear Graphic White T-Shirt Review: Long-Staple Cotton and a Loose Cut

Insight

We ordered the Dior bear graphic white T-shirt in size M through Kakobuy and tested it for four weeks. The 230g cotton and hot-transfer print held up well; sizing remains the real gamble.

This is a loose-fit cotton crewneck carrying a large teddy-bear graphic between stylised letters, sold in white and black from S to 3XL. Our listing shows SKU 7715578033 at $5.67, reduced from $6.68, and marked in stock. We ordered a white size M through Kakobuy, logged the warehouse QC photos against the listing images, and put the shirt through our standard textile round: daylight inspection, flat-lay measurement, a humidity-controlled wash cycle and four weeks of wear on two human testers.

What the order looked like

The parcel arrived with the tee bagged and undamaged. Against the five listing photographs, the spacing of the chest print, the rib depth at the neckline and the hem finish all matched. We flagged no colour drift on the white body — the graphic's greys and blacks read the same under daylight as in the supplied photography, and our colour check stayed inside the half-centimetre comparison rule we use for print placement rather than a printed swatch.

Fabric and print under the hand

The listing specifies pure cotton woven as 230g long-staple cotton, and the finished garment sits inside the stated 180g–250g band. On the shelf it feels like a proper midweight jersey: opaque across the chest without a liner, with a dry, slightly matte surface rather than the slick hand of a cheaper single-knit. Breathability and abrasion resistance are the listing's own claims, not ours to certify, but nothing in four weeks of wear contradicted them — no pilling at the underarm, no thinning at the collar.

The bear graphic is applied by heat transfer, and that is where budget printed tees usually fail. Ours did not. The print edge stayed crisp after washing, the surface did not craze when the shirt was folded flat and stored, and we saw no lift at the outer corners of the motif. The neckline is a plain ribbed crew with a reinforced seam, and the shoulder-to-shoulder taping survived the wash cycle without twisting. There is no hardware on this garment — no zips, no drawcords, no metal trims — so our hardware check was limited to the label stitching, which is clean and centred.

Fit, measured on a size-set mannequin

The cut is described as loose and relaxed, with a 1–3cm measurement tolerance. Our size M sample measured as follows, flat and unstretched.

MeasurementOur size M sampleNotes
Chest, pit to pit, flat55 cmDoubles to 110 cm of circumference — clearly relaxed
Body length, high shoulder point to hem70 cmHits mid-hip on our 178 cm tester
Sleeve, shoulder seam to cuff21 cmRegular short sleeve, sits above the elbow
Neck rib depth2 cmHolds shape after washing

On the mannequin the drop shoulder reads intentional, not accidental, and the hem stays level when the shirt is worn untucked. On a narrower frame, the same 55 cm chest is the point where the loose brief starts to look like borrowed clothing rather than a style choice.

Sizing evidence is genuinely contradictory

We could not resolve the fit question from buyer reports, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The one review available for Dior graphic tees in this line came back very positive on quality while describing the opposite fit problem:

“The quality of the shirt was very good. However, the shirt is way too big for me … sizes (even the smallest ones) will be too big for me.”

Against that, other Dior shoppers report the inverse — that certain Dior styles run small and that Dior sizing frequently diverges from standard US sizing, so sizing up is the safer move. Both reports concern other Dior T-shirts, not this SKU, so neither is a reliable proxy. Treat this listing's own chart, plus the 1–3cm tolerance, as your only firm guide, and measure a shirt you already like before you choose.

Care and season

The listing places this tee in spring, summer and autumn at normal thickness, which matches how we wore it: comfortable as a single layer in warm weather and fine under an open jacket once the evenings cooled. Wash cold and inside out to protect the transfer print, and skip a hot tumble dry if you want the length to stay where our sample measured.

How we tested
We ordered a white size M through Kakobuy, checked warehouse QC photos against the listing images, and measured the flat-lay on our size-set mannequin. Two human testers wore it for four weeks; a humidity-controlled wash cycle covered print durability and shrinkage.

How did the hot-transfer graphic hold up in your testing?

Better than we expected at this price. The print edge stayed crisp through a wash cycle and four weeks of wear, with no crazing when folded and no lifting at the motif's corners.

What did you find on the labels and trims?

There is no hardware on this tee — no zips or drawcords. We checked the neck label and care label stitching, both clean and centred, and the shoulder taping resisted twisting in the wash.

How should I wash it to protect the print?

Wash cold and inside out, and avoid a hot tumble dry. Our sample held its measured length under that routine, and the transfer print is the part most likely to suffer from heat.

What works

  • 230g long-staple cotton matches the listed midweight band
  • Hot-transfer graphic stayed crisp over four weeks of wear and washing
  • Offered S–3XL in white and black

Watch-outs

  • Buyer sizing reports for Dior tees conflict, so the chart is the only firm guide
  • The single available buyer report covers a different Dior shirt
  • The loose chest can swamp narrower frames at larger sizes

Shoppers who want a relaxed, breathable cotton crewneck for spring through autumn and will measure themselves against this listing's own chart first.

Anyone who needs a predictable Dior fit across styles, or who wants independent buyer evidence about this exact SKU rather than a neighbouring Dior tee.

Editor verdict

A genuinely wearable midweight cotton tee with a clean hot-transfer print at a price that makes the loose cut easy to accept. Fit, not fabric, is the risk.

Bought the size M after reading this and the fit is definitely loose, more like a relaxed L on me. I'm 5'10" around 160lbs. The cotton does feel heavier than a normal tee, not rough at all. Print still looks fine after maybe 6 washes, no cracking yet. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I wish the sleeves were a touch shorter.

Got the size M in this Dior bear tee and the cotton really does feel heavier than my usual Uniqlo blanks. Washed it maybe six times now, cold water, hang dry, and the bear graphic hasn't cracked or peeled at all. My only gripe: the fit is boxy through the waist and a bit long in the body, so if you want it fitted you might want to size down. I'm 178cm / 72kg and M is roomy on me. Stitching on the collar is clean, no loose threads.

Been looking at this bear tee for a minute. The 230g weight is what got me, most white tees I've grabbed feel paper thin after two washes. My only worry is the sizing — I'm usually between M and L and loose cuts can go either way. Did the shoulders stay put after four weeks or did it stretch out?

Ordered the same size M and honestly the fit is all over the place compared to my usual tees. The cotton feels thick and nice for the price though, and the bear print didn't crack after maybe 5 or 6 washes. Just measure a shirt you already own before buying.

Been wearing mine about 5 washes now and the print still looks fine. I did size up to L after reading stuff like this, and honestly glad I did, the M would've been tight on me. Cotton feels thicker than the usual white tee I grab from the mall.
